This brass gland is designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, making it suitable for all types of steel wire armoured cable (SWA). It ensures an environmental seal on the outer cable sheath while providing mechanical cable retention and electrical continuity through armour wire termination.
With an operating temperature range of -20°C to +80°C, this gland is built to withstand a variety of environmental conditions. It offers ingress protection rated at IP66, compliant with EN60529, ensuring that it is watertight and resistant to dust and water ingress. Approved to BS EN 62444:2013, it guarantees reliability in demanding applications.
