Product description
MarXman is a unique new tool designed so that with one push it quickly, easily and clearly marks almost any surface from tiles to pebble dash, walls to wood or metal, ready for drilling or fixing.
Instead of sharpening your pencil and searching for the mark you made MarXman does the job for you, it releases a burst of bright chalk spray which clearly marks your reference points.
The Standard MarXman can mark clearly through depths of 45 mm and under.
The Deep Hole MarXman can mark clearly through depths of 45mm and over.
Both MarXman can be used to mark a reference point directly onto any surface. Push it onto the surface and it sprays a cross instead of a dot.
MarXman is a British made product which uses non-toxic ingredients and has very low global warming potential. It will retail at £9.95 and dispenses 200 doses.
PRESS IT! MARK IT! DRILL IT!
Martin Chard the inventor of MarXman is a self-employed building maintenance man. He invented the MarXman after trying to fit a sink. He could not mark the drilling position on the wall and see the marks, so after a few, time wasting attempts, he reached for a can of black spray paint in desperation and marked it with that. After too many frustrating incidents like this and lots of wasted trips up and down ladders with broken pencils and felt tips not doing the job, in 2010 he started the process of developing MarXman so other workers could benefit.
The MarXman has since had an interesting journey receiving several awards from the British Invention Show, including The Diamond Award for The British Invention of the year 2013 and The Double Gold consumer product of the year in 2014.
