Installation Recommendations: For optimal installation, we recommend that at least two people lift and fix these large and heavy tiles. Back butter each tile to ensure suitable contact, and trowel the substrate with a thick solid bed trowel. Use a cementitious adhesive for full drying, curing, and strength (recommended: BAL PTB Fibre Plus for floors; BAL Rapid Flex Fibre Plus for walls). If you’re working with a weak substrate, consider using Hardibacker Cement board. For walls, you’ll need a ‘solid’ body spacer to help prevent the tiles from slipping. If you’re tiling above 1.6m, mechanical fixing may be required. For advice on cutting tools, drill bits, and finishing silicone options, please visit your local Topps Tiles store.
